The Federation Council called the UK’s decision to toughen sanctions on Russia stupid

The UK’s decision to toughen sanctions against Russia is extremely stupid. So he was called by a member of the Committee for International Affairs of the Federation Council of the Republic of Crimea, Sergey Tsekov, during a conversation with RT.

According to him, the British cannot accept the fact that Russia is a great ruling and authoritarian country. Moreover, they are driven by hatred, and based on that hatred, they make such decisions, the senator added.

Earlier, it was learned that the British Parliament had approved amendments to the Russia Sanctions Act, allowing restrictions against a wider range of individuals and companies. According to the country’s government, the document was signed by European Affairs Minister James Cleverley.

Previously, the sanctions regime against Russia allowed Britain to impose restrictions on those London says are directly involved in “destabilizing” Ukraine. With the adoption of the amendments, the criteria for determining these persons and enterprises have been expanded.
